THE FOUNDERS

A Mother & Daughter Duo

Lunara House is led by Ann-Charlotte and Paulina Gerdne — a mother-and-daughter duo and the founders of Art Concepts London, our interior design and art consultancy practice. Between us we bring two rare things to a celebration: the eye of an interior designer and the instinct of a hospitality host. For over three decades we’ve shaped how spaces look and how people feel inside them — and Lunara House is where those two worlds meet.

Ann-Charlotte Gerdne — Founder

Ann-Charlotte’s career spans more than 35 years across luxury design and hospitality. Long before Art Concepts London, she built and ran highly successful restaurants — mastering the unseen choreography of service, timing and atmosphere that makes every guest feel looked after. Paired with three decades as an interior designer and art consultant, it means she knows how a room should look, and how it should feel to be in it.

Paulina Gerdne — Co-Founder & Creative Director

Paulina brings the contemporary perspective — a background in design and branding, and an understanding of how art, space and atmosphere shape the way a moment feels. She is the modern energy of the studio, pushing every concept beyond the conventional.

“Most planners come from one discipline. We come from three — interior design, art curation and hospitality. We don’t just style a celebration; we understand the space, the art within it, and the rhythm of looking after guests from the first welcome to the final farewell.”

Together, they form a rare partnership — experience and innovation, heritage and fresh perspective. The same synergy that built Art Concepts London now shapes every Lunara House celebration.

Rooted in Art Concepts London

Lunara House grew from Art Concepts London — our interiors and art consultancy practice. This heritage shapes everything about how we work. We approach celebrations the way an interior designer approaches a room. We think about atmosphere before aesthetics, flow before florals, and the emotional experience of being in a space before any supplier is contacted. This is not how most event companies work. It is entirely how we work. The result is celebrations that feel less like produced events and more like places — with their own light, their own pace, their own particular feeling that guests struggle to name but never forget.

OUR APPROACH

Our Ethos for Every Occasion

Atmosphere is everything.

— The perfect curation of venue, lighting, and tempo is never accidental. They distinguish a standard event from a profound experience. Guests aren't seeking a party; they are looking to be immersed in a new world.

Fewer guests, more presence.

— We believe in smaller, closer celebrations where everyone in the room belongs there. Intimacy is not a limitation. It is the point.

Structure sets you free.

— True serenity for a host is only possible when every logistical element is handled with absolute precision. We curate an invisible, sophisticated framework behind the scenes that allows you to be fully present, knowing that the most intentional and meticulous planning is the ultimate luxury.

The detail no one notices is the detail everyone feels.

— The weight of the linen. The temperature of the room. The moment between the ceremony and the dinner. These are the things we obsess over. The attention to everything - what happens if the bridge gets a stain? Who is holding the veil? We are there every step on the way - even in moments where you cant see us.

We take a limited number of celebrations each year.
